Sometimes there is a goal we have in mind that may take many years to realise. This photograph is that very realisation of a goal created by childhood imagination.

At approximately 8 years of age I remember the circus coming to town and considering the size of the town in which we lived, this was a big deal. Proudly taking out my new camera I took what I thought were fantastic photos, only to find when the film was developed - my imagination had far out weighed my ability.

A few days ago I tried once again to capture the image from those years and here it is. Only through photography does the extraordinary ability to capture and share a slice of my imagination with you all exist.
